JOHNSTON, IA - A woman who is accused of causing a fatal motorcycle crash in 2021 will not face prison time, according to KCCI.
Motorcyclist Landon Crabtree, 33, fatally collided with driver Makenna Streff, 25, when she pulled out in front of him at NW Beaver Dr and 70th Ave around 10:30 p.m. on June 26.
Authorities originally charged Streff with vehicular manslaughter and OWI. Those charges were dropped because Streff's BAC was below the legal limit when she took the blood test.
Streff will pay a $1,000 fine and have her license suspended.
