MADISON COUNTY, IA -- A vehicle accident Friday afternoon blocked a left lane on Interstate 35 near north Bevington, according to Stateside Iowa 511.
The crash happened on the northbound interstate between Iowa Highway 92 (Exit 56) and County Roads G4R and G14 (Exit 65). It was first reported by Iowa 511 shortly before 2:30 p.m.
Only the left shoulder was initially blocked, but by 2:39 p.m., authorities indicated the left lane was also shut down.

By 2:57 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway with all lanes reopened to traffic.
