DALLAS COUNTY, IA -- A vehicle crash late Tuesday morning blocked a left lane and left shoulder on Interstate 80 near northeast De Soto, according to Stateside Iowa 511.
The accident occurred on the westbound interstate between County Highway R16 at Exit 113 and U.S. Highway 6, or US-169, at Exit 110. It was first reported by Iowa 511 at 11:50 a.m.
Only a left shoulder was initially blocked, but by 12:43 p.m., nearly an hour later, the left lane had shut down.

By 2:04 p.m., more than two hours after the first report, the scene was reported cleared, indicating a serious collision and extended emergency response.
