CEDAR RAPIDS, IA -- Property damage was reported Thursday afternoon after a driver reversed into a Dunkin Donuts storefront in southwest Cedar Rapids, reports KCRG.

Cedar Rapids Police said the incident took place off Edgewood Road Southwest.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but the driver backed into the glass panels of the building, causing damage to both the structure and the vehicle.

A photo captured at the scene shows a red passenger car at rest with its rear-end pushed against the store. A nearby pillar also appears to have been impacted.

No injuries were reported in the event.

No other information has been released at this time, but an investigation was in progress.
