DES MOINES COUNTY, IA -- A multi-vehicle collision early Thursday afternoon closed all eastbound lanes on U.S. Highway 34 in central Burlington, according to Stateside Iowa 511.
The accident happened on the eastbound highway at Exit 262A to Curran Street and was first reported by Iowa 511 at 12:46 p.m.

By 1:55 p.m., more than an hour later, multiple lanes appeared to have reopened, leaving only the left lane blocked.
At 2:10 p.m., the scene had been moved to the left shoulder and away from traffic lanes.
