CHICKASAW COUNTY, IA -- A 43-year-old Nashua man died Monday morning after a single-vehicle rollover accident on Iowa Highway 346 near Ionia, according to KCRG.
Iowa State Patrol said the fatal accident occurred near Hickory Avenue shortly after 10:00 a.m.
An early investigation indicates the man was behind the wheel of a truck when he lost control of the vehicle due to road conditions. The truck traveled off the roadway before overturning and coming to rest on its roof.
Authorities confirmed the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A passenger in the truck suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where their condition remains unknown.
