JOHNSON COUNTY, IA -- A 32-year-old Cedar Rapids man was arrested for suspected impairment early Sunday after a rollover wreck near Kent Park in Oxford, reports 1630 KCJJ.
First responders arrived at the scene on U.S. Highway Northwest near the park's entrance shortly before 1:30 a.m.
A Johnson County deputy said a 2008 Ford Fusion was found overturned on its roof in the highway's south ditch.
The driver and sole occupant of the Ford displayed signs of intoxication at the scene and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. His breath alcohol level also registered at .137%. A bottle of THC was also discovered in the suspect's vehicle.
Authorities said the suspect was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 2nd Offense. He now also faces a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
It was unclear whether or not any injuries were reported.
