DES MOINES, IA -- Utility lines were down late Thursday afternoon after a vehicle accident in downtown Des Moines, according to Des Moines Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene at the corner of 10th Street and Crocker Street shortly before 4:45 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the crash, but the report was included in a string of weather-related traffic issues recorded by the department.
Authorities said the intersection was shut down for a short time as crews worked to restore the downed lines.
