POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, IA -- A vehicle accident Friday morning closed a left lane on Interstate 80 near northwest Avoca, according to Stateside Iowa 511.
The crash happened on the westbound lanes between U.S. Highway 59 (Exit 40) and County Road M16 (Exit 34). It was first reported by Iowa 511 at 11:00 a.m.

A few minutes later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
