DES MOINES, IA -- A vehicle accident Monday morning blocked two left lanes on Interstate 235 near the Drake Park neighborhood in Des Moines, according to Iowa 511.
The crash impacted the westbound lanes between Keosauqua Way and 19th Street. It was first reported by 511 at 8:32 a.m.

Only one left lane was initially closed, but by 9:41 a.m., nearly an hour later, the closure had been upgraded to two left lanes.
