POLK COUNTY, IA -- A vehicle crash early Friday afternoon blocked a left lane and left shoulder on Interstate 35 near northeast Ankeny, according to Iowa 511.
The accident impacted the northbound lanes between Exit 92 to East 1st Street and Exit 94 to Northeast 36th Street. It was first reported by 511 at 12:15 p.m.

Only the left shoulder was initially reported blocked, but by 12:20 p.m., the left lane had closed.

At 1:23 p.m., more than an hour later, the roadway was reopened to traffic.
