LINN COUNTY, IA -- A vehicle accident late Thursday morning delayed traffic for more than an hour on Interstate 380 near Hiawatha Park in south Hiawatha, according to Iowa 511.
The collision took place on the southbound interstate at Exit 24B to Blairs Ferry Road. It was first reported by 511 at 11:43 a.m.

Authorities initially indicated the left shoulder was blocked, but by 12:17 p.m., the left lane was shut down.

The closure remained in place until about 1:11 p.m., when the roadway was reported reopened to traffic.
