STORY COUNTY, IA -- A vehicle accident Wednesday evening blocked a right shoulder on Interstate 35 near southeast Ames, according to Iowa 511.
The collision took place on the northbound lanes between the South Skunk River and Exit 111 to U.S. Highway 30. It was first reported by 511 at 7:47 p.m.

Shortly before 9:00 p.m., more than an hour later, the scene was reported cleared with all lanes reopened to traffic.
