DES MOINES, IA -- A vehicle crash Friday afternoon closed all eastbound lanes on U.S. Highway 6 near the Douglas Acres neighborhood in northeast Des Moines, according to Stateside Iowa 511.
The accident occurred on the eastbound highway between Interstate 235 and East 29th Street. It was first reported by Iowa 511 shortly before 3:30 p.m.

Two right eastbound lanes were initially blocked, but by 3:56 p.m., the closure included all eastbound lanes.
