DES MOINES, IA -- At least one person was hurt Monday morning in a vehicle accident near Southdale Shopping Center in south Des Moines's Jordan Park neighborhood, according to Des Moines Police Department.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Southeast 14th Street and East Diehl Avenue. It was first reported by DMPD at 8:19 a.m.
Commuters heading downtown were warned of delays impacting traffic on the inbound lanes.
As of this writing, authorities have not confirmed the number of people injured or the severity of their condition.
