WEST DES MOINES, IA -- A vehicle incident Thursday evening blocked a right lane and right shoulder on Interstate 235 near Pearson Park in West Des Moines, according to Iowa 511.
The event took place on the westbound lanes from 8th Street and 73rd Street (Exit 3) to 22nd Street (Exit 2). It was first reported by 511 at 5:45 p.m.

Authorities initially indicated the right shoulder was blocked, but shortly before 6:00 p.m., the right lane was also impacted.
