LINN COUNTY, IA -- Two people were hospitalized late Sunday night after a two-vehicle accident on Iowa Highway 13 in Marion, according to KCRG.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office said the collision occurred at the corner of County Home Road and IA-13.
An early investigation indicates a Nissan Rogue SUV was heading westbound on County Home Road and had stopped at the intersection. As the Rogue proceeded forward, it was hit by a Dodge Journey SUV.
The Rogue's driver and one other passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported by ambulance to a hospital.
It was unclear whether or not the driver of the Journey was hurt, but they were cited for "failure to obey a traffic control device."
No further information has been disclosed.
