News: 1 killed, 2 injured in head-on collision near Nora Springs

CERRO GORDO, CO - A man was killed and two teens were hospitalized following a head-on crash near Nora Springs on Monday night, WHO reports.

Police say 58-year-old Timothy Hoy of Charles City was traveling eastbound on 265th Street when his Nissan Altima crossed the Center line at Yarrow Avenue. Hoy's Nissan then slammed head-on into a westbound Pontiac G5.

The Nissan then came to rest on the opposite side of the roadway, where it was hit by a second vehicle.

The Pontiac's driver, 41-year-old Stephen Miles, died at the scene. His two passengers, 16-year-old Tyler Miles and 17-year-old Jackson Gobeli. were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

It is unclear if Hoy suffered injuries in the crash.
