HIAWATHA, IA- One driver was injured in a collision with a train in Hiawatha on Wednesday afternoon, according to local news sources.
Officials responded to the scene of the collision near Coral Drive shortly after it occurred. A driver attempted to cross the train tracks in their vehicle and was T-boned by a train, causing injuries. There were no crossing arms at this railroad crossing.
