COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA- One person was killed in an I-80 westbound motorcycle crash near Council Bluffs on Saturday afternoon, according toIowa Accident Reporting.
The incident was reported at approximately 2:08pm near mile marker 9 of the I-80 roadway. A tire on a motorcycle failed and caused the vehicle to lose control and flip, hitting cable barriers on the roadway. Officials arrived to the scene shortly after and reported the individual dead at the scene of the incident.
