CEDAR RAPIDS, IA- Officials reported and responded to a structure fire in a home on 6th Street Southwest in Cedar Rapids on Monday, according to KCRG News.
At approximately 4:30am, fire department officials responded to the 2000 block of 6th Street Southwest due to reports of a fire. Smoke and flames were rising from the kitchen of the structure, and officials extinguished the blaze shortly after. No other details about the incident have been confirmed at this time.
