News: Man injured when pickup hits mattress in Linn Co.

CENTER POINT, IA - A man was injured when the pickup truck he was driving struck a mattress on I-380 in Iowa City on Monday night, KCRG reports.

The man was driving south near mile marker 35 at about 10 p.m. on June 13 when he hit a mattress that was lying in the roadway. He subsequently lost control of his pickup, which struck the median and overturned.

Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
