POLK COUNTY, IA -- A vehicle collision Monday morning closed all westbound lanes on Iowa Highway 163 near Toad Valley Golf Course in east Pleasant Hill, according to Stateside Iowa 511.
The accident impacted a stretch of the westbound highway between Northeast 112th Street (County Road S27) and U.S. Highway 65. It was first reported by Iowa 511 at 8:20 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but by 8:49 a.m., nearly half an hour later, only two left lanes remained blocked.
At 9:35 a.m., more than an hour after the initial report, the roadway was reported cleared with all lanes reopened to traffic.
