News: Driver injured in two-car wreck on US-30 offramp near SW Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA -- One person was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle collision on the U.S. Highway 30 offramp in southwest Cedar Rapids, according to CBS2Iowa.

The accident occurred on the US-30 eastbound offramp to Williams Boulevard, or U.S. Business Highway 151.

An early investigation indicates one car was heading southbound on Williams Boulevard when it collided head-on with another car that had entered the intersection from the offramp without yielding.

One of the drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

It was unclear whether or not the other driver was hurt, but authorities said both drivers were wearing seat belts and no other occupants were involved.

As of this writing, no further updates have been released.
