DES MOINES, IA -- At least one person was hurt Wednesday afternoon in a vehicle wreck near northeast Des Moines' Capitol Park neighborhood, according to Des Moines Police Department.
The accident occurred at the intersection of East 13th Street and East University Avenue. It was first reported by DMPD at 2:34 p.m.
No details have been released regarding the circumstances behind the crash, but motorists were warned of temporary lanes closures and delays in the area.
