DES MOINES, IA -- A single-vehicle collision involving a possible intoxicated driver was reported Monday morning in Des Moines' Capitol East area, according to Des Moines Police Department.
The wreck occurred off the intersection of Southeast 18th Street and East Martin Luther King Junior Parkway. It was first reported by DMPD at 6:54 a.m.
Little information has been provided at this time, but authorities said a vehicle crashed off the roadway.
The DMPD's Traffic Unit was requested at the scene to test the driver of OWI (Operating While Intoxicated).
