NEWTON, IA- A collision shut down the shoulders of the I-80 westbound roadway in Newton on Tuesday morning, according to Statewide Iowa 511 Reporting.
The incident was reported at approximately 7:47am in the westbound lanes of I-80. The crash blocked the shoulders of the roadway from Exit 164 towards IA-14 to Exit 159 towards County Road F48/S52. No further details on the cause or nature of the incident have been released at this time.
