DES MOINES, IA- An apartment fire that heavily damaged three condos in Des Moines is thought to have been caused by lightning on Sunday, according to KCCI News.
Officials responded to the 201 area of Grand Avenue on Sunday morning when an occupant smelled smoke near the building. Firefighters fought the blaze, thought to be caused by lightning in the area, but 20 people were displaced in the incident. Three condos were heavily damaged, while a fouth suffered minor damage.
