WRIGHT CO., IA - A man is facing a number of charges after leading police on a chase and slamming into and ISP cruiser in Wright County on Wednesday morning.
According to KCCI, the chase ensued on I-35 at about 7 a.m.
Troopers pursued the suspect, reaching speeds upwards of 105 mph, before he took the exit towards Woolstock. That's when the suspect vehicle slammed into the cruiser, causing it to crash into a ditch.
The suspect then bailed out and attempted to flee on foot. He was located and taken into custody a short time later.
No one was reportedly injured as a result of the crash.
