DAVENPORT, IA - Firefighters were called to the scene of a structure fire near downtown Davenport on Tuesday evening.
According to KWQC, reports of a fire in the 1200 block of Main Street, near US Business Route 61, came in at about 5:30 p.m.
Firefighters discovered flames bellowing from the rear porch, the second floor, and the third-story roof. They were able to quickly control the fire from the roof and the outside.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the blaze. Investigators are working to determine what may have caused the fire.
