LINN COUNTY, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, one person was hurt when a semi-truck driver rear-ended a tractor on Troy Mills Rd near Rundell Rd Tuesday.

A 56-year-old male was driving a semi-truck south on Troy Mills Rd when he struck the rear of a tractor operated by a 44-year-old male around 7:05 p.m.
Following the collision, the tractor over onto its top and the semi-truck crashed into a ditch.
Rescue crews transported the tractor driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities cited the semi-truck driver for Following Too Close and Use of an Electronic Communications Device While Driving.
