JOHNSON COUNTY, IA - According to KCRG, a person lost their life in a single-vehicle collision on the 2800 block of Dubuque St NE Saturday.
An 18-year-old man was driving a Jeep Wrangler south on Dubuque St when he crashed into a ditch around 1:30 a.m.
The crash ejected the driver and his 18-year-old male passenger from the vehicle. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt during the crash.
Rescue crews pronounced one of the men dead at the scene of the accident and transported the other to an area hospital. It is unclear who was driving the Wrangler.
