MARSHALLTOWN, IA - Firefighters responded to a house fire on Highland Acres Rd Thursday, according to We Are Iowa.
The home caught on fire around 2:30 p.m. A neighbor mowing his lawn alerted the house's three occupants to the fire.
Firefighters put out the fire, which was in the garage of the house. They stayed in the area for about two hours.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
