BETTENDORF, IA - Officials have released more information concerning the fatal auto vs. pedestrian collision on I-80 near Bettendorf Monday, according to KWQC.
The driver of a Jeep Patriot struck a 52-year-old male tow truck driver assisting a disabled bus on the side of the road at 2:07 a.m.
The 52-year-old male died in the collision. Crews transported two occupants of the Patriot, a 43-year-old and a 27-year-old, to an area hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
