News: 1 dead, 2 injured in motorcycle crash in Fremont Co.

SIDNEY, IA - One rider was killed and two others were hospitalized after a collision involving 2 motorcycles in Fremont County on Saturday evening.

According to KETV, a deer ran into the roadway on Bluff Road near 190th Street at about 8:45 p.m. forcing the motorcycles to swerve out of the way. A wheel on the side car of one of the motorcycles malfunctioned, causing the driver to lose control and crash.

Andy Wiese, aged 39 from Silver City, Iowa, was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the Iowa State Patrol (ISP). Adam Wiese, aged 44 and from Denison, Iowa, along with Janelle Wiese, aged 70 and a resident of Corning, Iowa, were airlifted by medics to an Omaha hospital.
