SIOUX COUNTY, IA - According to WHO 13, a woman died in a single-vehicle crash on 300th St near Filmore Ave on Sunday.
A driver failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a ditch, which caused the car to go airborne. The driver's 35-year-old female passenger was ejected from the vehicle and became pinned underneath it.
Rescue crews transported the driver and their passenger to an area hospital, where the passenger died.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
