MARION, IA - According to Linn County Sheriff's Office, two people were hurt in a crash caused by a hit-and-run driver at A 100 and S 31st St on Thursday.

An 18-year-old was driving a tan Chevrolet Silverado when they collided with a Chevrolet Astro Van before fleeing the scene.
Rescue crews transported the van's two occupants, a 59-year-old male and a 59-year-old female, to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities located the Silverado driver a short time later on Marion Airport Rd. They charged them with Driving While License Under Suspension, Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident, No Insurance-Accident Related, and Reckless Driving.
