News: 2 killed in fiery semi-truck crash on I-80 in Dallas County

DALLAS COUNTY, IA - Two people died following a semi-truck wreck on I-80 near mile marker 111 on Thursday, according to We Are Iowa.

A semi-truck driver was on eastbound I-80 when they strayed off the road and crashed into a concrete barrier around 11:25 p.m.

The collision caused the truck to jackknife and its fuel tank to explode. The explosion killed the truck's two occupants.

Officials have not identified the two victims.

The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
