MELBOURNE, IA - According to We Are Iowa, two people died in a multi-vehicle crash on the 3000 block of Marshalltown Blvd on Monday.
A driver had pulled over to assist a driver with a disabled vehicle when a third vehicle hit one of the parked cars at 3:50 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced a 61-year-old male dead at the scene. They transported a 41-year-old man to an area hospital, where he died. Crews also transported two other men to local hospitals in unknown condition.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
