DES MOINES, IA - A unit at the Fleur Lodge motel at 4817 Fleur Dr caught on fire Monday, according to Des Moines Register.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 12:45 a.m. They battled the fire, which was on the second floor, and had it extinguished by 2:30 a.m.
The fire was contained to the one room. The room underneath it was water damaged.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
