News: Motorcyclist injured following crash in Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY, IA - According to KCRG, a motorcyclist was hurt when he attempted to avoid colliding with a deer at 45th Street and R Ave on Friday.

A 17-year-old male was riding a motorcycle south on R Ave when a deer entered his path around 8:30 p.m. The motorcyclist lost control of the motorcycle while avoiding the deer and crashed.

Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
