MOUNT VERNON, IA - According to Linn County Sheriff's Office, officials have released additional details concerning an accident at 1601 Springville Rd on Monday.
Michael Miller, 31, was driving a 1991 Ford Crown Victoria south on Springville Rd when he struck a ditch near the driveway at 1601 Springville Rd, causing the vehicle to roll over and eject Miller from the car.
Rescue crews transported Miller to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities charged Miller with OWI First Offense, Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle, No Insurance, and Failure to Wear a Seatbelt.
