News: Troopers investigate fatal 2-vehicle crash in Osceola County

OSCEOLA COUNTY, IA - The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that killed two people at US-59 and County Hwy A34 on Sunday, according to WHO 13.

A 27-year-old was driving a GMC Envoy east on A34 when they ran a stop sign and collided with a southbound Ford Explorer operated by a 22-year-old male around 9:15 a.m.

The collision caused the Envoy to roll over and collide with a water tower.

A 22-year-old woman and a nine-year-old died in the wreck.

Rescue crews transported a 54-year-old woman, the Ford Explorer driver, and two children to area hospitals.
