CRESTON, IA - The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened at N Sumner Ave and Howard St on Saturday, according to We Are Iowa.
A was heading south on N Sumner Ave at excessive speeds when they lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a parked vehicle and two houses around 9:45 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver and their male passenger to an area hospital, where the passenger died.
Officials have not provided the names of the driver or passenger.
