News: Troopers investigate fatal motorcycle crash in Allamakee County

ALLAMAKEE COUNTY, IA - A motorcyclist died following a two-vehicle collision near IA 76 and Sandhill Rd on Wednesday, according to WHO 13.

A 32-year-old man was driving a pickup truck with a trailer north on IA 76 when he went to make a U-turn. A 60-year-old man riding a motorcycle on northbound IA 76 collided with the trailer as the driver made the U-turn and was ejected from the bike.

Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
