News: 1 hurt after driver collides with semi-truck on US 34 near New London

NEW LONDON, IA - One person was hurt when a driver collided with a semi-truck near US 34 and 260th St on Tuesday, according to KWQC.

A male was driving a Nissan Kick on 260th St when he ran a stop sign and collided with a Western Star semi-truck driven by a male.

Rescue crews transported a passenger from the Kick to an area hospital.

Authorities cited the Kick driver for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
