News: 2 17-year-olds plead not guilty for deadly crash in Iowa City

IOWA CITY, IA - Two teens who were charged for a deadly crash that happened at E Court St and South 7th Ave on May 27 plead not guilty, according to KCRG.

The two 17-year-olds were driving a 2008 Saturn and a 2012 GMC west on Court St at high speeds when they slammed into a 2017 Chevrolet driven by a 22-year-old woman around 10:45 p.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the 22-year-old woman dead at the scene. They transported three 17-year-olds to an area hospital.

Authorities charged the two drivers with vehicular homicide and involuntary manslaughter.

They pleaded not guilty to these charges on Friday.
