CENTER POINT, IA - According to Linn County Sheriff, a driver was hurt when they collided with a garbage truck at 4537 Urbana Rd on Monday.

A 16-year-old male was driving a 1994 Chevy truck when he crashed into a garbage truck operated by a 63-year-old man around 8 a.m.
Emergency crews extricated the 16-year-old from the truck and airlifted him to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The garbage truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
