ALTOONA, IA - According to KCCI, a semi-truck driver was hurt when his vehicle caught on fire on I-80 EB on Tuesday.
Firefighters responded to the incident around 6 p.m. By then, the fire had spread to the grassy median. They extinguished both blazes.
Rescue crews transported the semi-truck driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
