News: House fire on W 4th St in Davenport displaces family

DAVENPORT, IA - A family was displaced by a house fire on the 2200 block of W 4th St on Monday, according to KWQC.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 6:21 p.m. Flames were coming out the second floor and roof when they arrived.

Crews extinguished the body of the fire in around 30 minutes. They stayed at the scene for a couple of hours to put out hot spots.

The fire displaced two adults and two children. They are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.
